Little eggplants

Instructions from my friend Jeff:

Cut in half, plunk in a very slight coating of bacon fat (might have
been 1/2 tsp in the whole pan).  Cook on med for roughly 4 minutes or until
golden.  Flip and sprinkle some kosher salt and dried oregano. Wait a few
minutes.  They are done when sharp knife goes in easily into the center.

Yum!
